Hayashi's Martial Arts Academy - Hayashi Dojo EST. 1955

Seven decades of continuous operation make Hayashi’s Martial Arts Academy something rare in American martial arts: a dojo established in 1955 that remains family-owned and teaching on El Paso’s Westside. The school offers judo and MMA-oriented training for both kids and adults, welcoming students who want competition, self-defense classes, or simply to meet their physical goals. Current members rate it 4.9 across 25 Google reviews, and the academy is notably LGBTQ-friendly and transgender-safe. Hours are generous for a school of its kind, 8 AM to 8 PM on weekdays plus Saturday mornings. Find Hayashi Dojo at 211 Teramar Way, or call 915-760-6999 and visit hayashismartialarts.com.
