Husband-and-wife black belts run Davis Martial Arts Academy: Roy Davis, a third-degree black belt with thirty-four years of martial arts training including twenty-two in jiu-jitsu, co-owns and teaches alongside Sarah Davis, a second-degree black belt. The Humble academy sits on US-59 in Humble Plaza – right next to a Shipley’s – and focuses on jiu-jitsu and self-defense for kids, building self-confidence and self-control, alongside adult classes.
