Barney & Me Boxing Gym

Two decades of steady operation make Barney & Me one of McKinney’s longest-running boxing gyms — it was established in 2003 and still trains out of the same E Louisiana St address. Trainer Barney Flores offers three distinct services: group lessons aimed at beginners, private coaching for sharper goals, and ring rentals for fundraising events and photo shoots — a quirky sideline that says plenty about the gym’s community role. Sessions run early mornings (6-9AM) and evenings (5-8PM) on weekdays. Reviews stand at 4.3 across 16 Google ratings, a fair reflection of an old-school, no-frills room.
