Academy of Classical Karate

Classical Japanese karate still has a real home in Plano at the Academy of Classical Karate, where kids, adult, and competition-track programs all grow from the same traditional curriculum. The dojo pairs fundamentals-first teaching with a dedicated competition karate program, so whether a student’s goal is confidence, fitness, or the tournament podium, the path runs through disciplined, time-tested training. Google reviewers have noticed the consistency: a 4.9-star average across 135 reviews. Classes run weekday afternoons into the evening with Saturday morning sessions capping the week, and a free karate trial lets newcomers test the mats before committing.
