Poteet Martial Arts

Tuesday and Thursday evenings, all focus on the mat: Poteet Martial Arts in Alvarado concentrates its Taekwon-Do program into 6-to-8PM sessions, with new Wednesday all-level and competition classes recently added to the calendar starting in early 2026. That dedicated competition class signals the school’s orientation — students here don’t just collect belts, they prepare for contests — while kickboxing rounds out the curriculum for fitness-minded members. The school rates 4.9 across 44 Google reviews and has a reputation as a family-oriented operation where personal attention is standard.
