A1 Jiu Jitsu

Sixty Google reviews and not a single star dropped — A1 Jiu Jitsu carries a perfect 5.0 scorecard in downtown Conroe, the kind of consensus that usually signals a tight-knit mat culture rather than heavy marketing spend. The academy teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu for kids and adults, with doors open 8 AM to 8 PM six days a week — Sunday included, Saturday closed — an unusually accessible format for students who cannot make evening-only schedules. Self-defense fundamentals and competition preparation run alongside the standard gi curriculum. Its North 6th Street suite keeps the school close to central Conroe. Prospective students can review schedules and trial offers through the academy’s member portal or call (832) 350-1077 to speak with a coach about starting BJJ.
