Nacogdoches Blackbelt Academy School of Martial Arts

Sixth-degree blackbelt Russell Maness leads Nacogdoches Blackbelt Academy, a Westward Drive school whose curriculum emphasizes self-improvement and self-control for students of all ages and abilities. Local newspapers have profiled the academy’s work building confidence and self-protection skills in East Texas kids, and members rate it 4.7 on Google. Training runs four days a week in late-afternoon and evening blocks, with MMA taught alongside traditional martial arts. The academy accepts cards for convenient payment and posts its class times publicly. It reads as a longstanding neighborhood institution rather than a passing fitness trend.
