Grand Master Y.D. Park Tae Kwon DO

Ninth-dan leadership runs this Clear Lake-area academy: Grand Master Y.D. Park, ranked 9th dan, still heads the taekwondo school bearing his name on El Dorado Blvd in southeast Houston. The program teaches Olympic-style taekwondo across class tracks for beginners, intermediate students, and kids-and-family combinations, with trial lessons available for newcomers and recognition as what the school calls a U.S. Presidential Honors School. Family classes let parents and children train and test side by side, a structure that keeps whole households on the mat together. Its 4.9 Google rating spans a small pool of eight reviews. For class times and trial booking, visit gmydpark.com or call 281-280-8888 in Houston.
