Shivering Timbers Dojo

Rare outside major metros, Danzan-ryu and Juko-ryu jujutsu lineages have found a small-town home at Shivering Timbers Dojo in Grand Saline, roughly an hour east of Dallas on US-80. The dojo’s offerings span traditional jujutsu, kempo, and related classical styles, with beginner classes on Tuesday and Thursday evenings plus a Saturday morning session, a compact schedule built around a rural community where most students drive in from surrounding farms and towns.
