Taekwondo Varsity League

Not every Conroe address on this directory is a dojang – the Taekwondo Varsity League is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that runs the competition circuit many Texas gyms feed into. TVL partners with USA Taekwondo, the AAU, American Taekwondo United, and collegiate governing bodies to build a pathway for youth, cadet, and junior athletes, including a push to make taekwondo a varsity-letter high school sport. Its TVL Black Belt Series events bracket youth black belts by weight division with cash awards and fight-of-the-night bonuses, run in partnership with the Texas State Championships. The league operates from 14129 Horseshoe Bend in Conroe; coaches and parents can reach the organization at (936) 228-9909 or tkdvarsityleague.com to register athletes or find event details.
