Jungdo Taekwondo Academy

Private lessons that fast-track progress are a signature offering at Jungdo Taekwondo Academy in Pearland, where Master Andrew Nguyen instructs at the Silverlake-area location of a school founded by Grand Master Jessie Cho. The academy teaches kids, teens, and adults at all levels, and its inclusivity is explicit: the school lists itself as LGBTQ-friendly and transgender-safe, with family discounts available. Weekday classes run 3:30 to 7:30 PM, leaving weekends open for families. Google reviews sit at a perfect 5.0 across 57 ratings. The Miller Ranch Road school serves Pearland’s growing southeast corridor, and students can add one-on-one sessions to sharpen technique before testing. Booking a private lesson or group trial starts with a call to 713-436-9977 or a visit to jungdoacademy.com.
