Houston Wing Chun Association

Lineage matters here: this association, founded in 1991, preserves Leung Sheung Wing Chun, the branch passed down from Grandmaster Yip Man through his Hong Kong student Leung Sheung, with teaching roots tracing to Sifu Kenneth Chung’s California classes begun in 1968. Students train in a focused traditional format, with sessions held Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 8:00 to 9:30, keeping the group small and the repetitions honest. It is a deliberately no-frills schedule for adults who want depth in one system rather than a menu of styles. Google reviewers rate the school 4.7 stars across 15 reviews. You will find them at 5804 S Rice Ave in Houston; call 832-868-8964 or visit houstonwingchun.com to arrange a first visit.
