Makhuwa JiuJitsu Clifton

Few gym names in Texas sound like Makhuwa, and the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu behind this one is just as distinctive. The Clifton school on West 5th Street trains grapplers in Bosque County, with evening and early-morning slots scattered across Monday, Wednesday and Friday — including a late Monday session that runs past midnight into structured open mat time. Makhuwa’s own website roots the team in nearby Stephenville under the same 254 phone number, giving wrestlers and jiujiteiros along the Bosque River corridor two mats to choose from. Instruction centers on ground fighting: takedowns, guard work, positional control and the technical problem-solving BJJ is famous for. Cards are accepted at the desk.
