Nexus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Coach James Sherry anchors Nexus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a community program that opened in September 2024 inside The REC of Grapevine, the city’s municipal recreation center on Municipal Way. Coach James Sherry has trained since 2006 and earned his rank under Yousef Alirezaei of Star BJJ in Carrollton, and the gym deliberately serves an unusually wide population: kids, adults, and adults with disabilities all have a place on the mat. Classes meet Monday and Wednesday evenings from 5:30 to 7:30, a lean schedule that keeps coaching attention concentrated. Early members rate it 5.0 across 11 Google reviews. Reach the team at (817) 677-8031 or nexusjj.webflow.io.
