Reza Kendo Academy

Lightsabers meet swordsmanship in San Angelo, where Reza Kendo Academy — known online as the Way of the Laser Sword — teaches light-sword combat as genuine martial training rather than movie cosplay. The academy opened in late 2024 and runs focused one-hour sessions at 6PM on Monday and Wednesday evenings, a commitment light enough for beginners balancing jobs or school. Students learn strikes, footwork, and discipline drawn from Japanese sword arts, with the glow of a blade making every drill memorable. It is one of the most unusual entries in West Texas martial arts. Message the academy at facebook.com/laserswordacademy or call 325-234-9022.
