Grand Master Song Chol (송철 집사님)

Since 1987, Houstonians have trained under GrandMaster Song Chol, whose KMA Taekwondo Hapkido program pairs taekwondo’s kicking arsenal with hapkido’s joint locks and throws under one roof. The academy describes itself as a multigenerational martial arts community with deep Houston roots — more than four decades of continuous teaching — rather than a belt-mill focused on rapid promotions. Classes run at the Huffmeister Road location serving northwest Houston and the Copperfield area, and the school currently holds a 5.0 rating on Google. A KMA-specific ethics and values curriculum distinguishes the program from generic taekwondo offerings. See the difference at houstontaekwondohapkido.com or call 346-669-5094.
