Stick-fighting traditions from the Philippines anchor Bahala Na Texas, a Spring-based collective preserving Giron Arnis Escrima as taught by Grandmaster Leo Giron and Grandmaster Tony Somera. Rather than one commercial school, it’s the combined effort of affiliated Bahala Na Martial Arts clubs across Texas, promoting escrima training for mind, body, and spirit. Getting started is deliberately low-friction: your first two classes are free, and the group loans students any sticks or blades they need — comfortable clothes and curiosity are the only requirements.
