Calhoun County YMCA

This Coastal Bend YMCA branch brings karate classes to Port Lavaca as part of the YMCA of the Golden Crescent, which also serves Victoria and the surrounding region. The Calhoun County YMCA folds martial arts into a broad community-fitness mission — group exercise, youth programs, and memberships aimed at all ages and walks of life. Doors open at 5 AM on weekdays and stay open into the evening, with weekend hours too, so training fits around shift work and school schedules. It holds a 3.9 rating across 21 Google reviews, reflecting a steady neighborhood following. For karate schedules and membership details, call 361-551-2562 or check the Calhoun County pages at ymcavictoria.org.
