Copyright Policy (DMCA)
Last updated: June 29, 2026
CombatTX respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of combattx.com to do the same. This policy describes how to report content that you believe infringes your copyright.
1. Designated Copyright Agent
Pursuant to the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512), CombatTX has designated a copyright agent to receive notifications of claimed infringement:
CombatTX Copyright Agent
Email: admin@combattx.com
Subject line: “DMCA Takedown Notice”
2. Filing a Takedown Notice
To file a notice of copyright infringement, you must provide a written communication that includes the following (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed (or, if multiple works, a representative list)
- Identification of the specific material on combattx.com that you claim is infringing, including the URL(s) where it appears
- Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
Send your completed notice to admin@combattx.com with the subject line “DMCA Takedown Notice.”
3. What Happens After We Receive a Notice
Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, CombatTX will:
- Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material
- Make a good-faith attempt to contact the party who submitted the material
- Keep a record of the notice and our response
4. Filing a Counter-Notice
If your content was removed and you believe it was removed in error or due to misidentification, you may file a counter-notice. Your counter-notice must include:
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled due to mistake or misidentification
- Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the U.S., any judicial district in which CombatTX may be found)
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who filed the original takedown notice
- Your physical or electronic signature
Send your counter-notice to admin@combattx.com with the subject line “DMCA Counter-Notice.”
5. Repeat Infringer Policy
In accordance with the DMCA, CombatTX maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers. We will document and track all valid infringement notices.
6. Listing Data
Most listing content (business names, addresses, phone numbers, hours) is factual data obtained from public sources. CombatTX displays this information as a directory service. Claims of copyright must be specific to original creative content (photographs, logos, unique descriptions), not factual business data.
