Listing Removal Requests
Last updated: June 29, 2026
CombatTX allows business owners or their authorized representatives to request removal of a listing from our directory at any time. This page describes the process.
1. Who Can Request Removal
A listing may be removed at the request of:
- The business owner or an authorized representative (manager, partner, officer)
- A person with legal authority to act on behalf of the business (attorney, agent)
- A court order or law enforcement request
2. How to Request Removal
To request listing removal, contact us at admin@combattx.com with the following information:
- Subject line: “Listing Removal Request”
- The exact business name as it appears on CombatTX
- The listing URL (e.g., combattx.com/listings/your-gym-name)
- Your full name and relationship to the business
- A brief reason for the removal request
- Proof of authorization (e.g., business email from the official domain, business license matching the listing, or phone verification)
3. Processing Time
We process removal requests within 5 business days of verifying your identity and authorization. We may contact you for additional information if needed.
4. What Gets Removed
Upon approval, we will:
- Set the listing to “draft” status (removing it from public view and search results)
- Remove the listing from our directory index within 24 hours
- Notify you once removal is complete
5. What Stays After Removal
The following information may be retained even after a listing is removed from public view:
- Business name and address as factual public record data
- Account records if the business had a paid plan (for tax and financial compliance)
- A record of the removal request and our response
If you need complete data deletion, please specify this in your request and see our Privacy Policy for data deletion rights under applicable state law.
6. Paid Listings and Removal
If your listing has an active Verified or Featured plan:
- Voluntary removal does not qualify for a refund (see our Refund Policy)
- Featured placement will be cancelled immediately upon removal
- Any remaining Featured days are non-refundable
7. Search Engine Caching
After we remove a listing from CombatTX, it may take additional time for search engines (Google, Bing) to update their indexes and cached copies. We have no control over third-party search engine caching. We will submit removal requests to Google on your behalf upon request.
8. Disputes
If multiple parties claim authority over the same business listing, CombatTX will make a good-faith determination based on available evidence. In cases of genuine dispute, we may temporarily hide the listing pending resolution.
9. Questions?
Contact admin@combattx.com with any questions about the removal process.
