D R Martial Arts Academy

Tradition meets wellness – that is the stated philosophy at D R Martial Arts Academy, a small-town dojo in Hemphill teaching traditional karate to kids, men, and women across deep East Texas. Classes meet Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from late afternoon into the evening, a manageable three-day rhythm for working families far from big-city gym options. Instruction follows classical karate discipline aimed at confidence and personal growth rather than fitness fads, and students advance at their own pace. The Sabine County academy posts schedules and team updates on its GoMotion page, gomotionapp.com/team/txdrm, or you can reach the school directly at 510-952-7283.
