Athens Karate School

Okinawan karate with a traceable lineage anchors Athens Karate School, which follows and teaches the traditional karate and kobudo, the weapons arts, of Grandmaster Fusei Kise of Okinawa, Japan. The school is proud to offer both martial arts and martial exercise in a variety of forms, blending the classical syllabus with a non-traditional fitness track. Students in this East Texas town train Monday through Thursday evenings, and rank is earned the traditional way, with the student roll listing everyone from junior first-degree holders on up. The Google rating is a perfect 5.0 from 16 reviews. Reach the dojo at 903-675-3229 or through athenskarate.com to observe a class in Athens.
