Kenpo Karate LLC

Five decades of continuous instruction make this Universal City kenpo school one of the San Antonio area’s longest-running dojos. Established in 1974, Kenpo Karate LLC teaches Chinese Kenpo, a practical blend of striking, kicking, grappling, throws and restraints, with dedicated self-defense classes for women, men and children plus weapons training. Students regularly note that belts here are genuinely earned, and the school even runs License to Carry courses alongside its martial arts curriculum, holding a perfect 5.0 rating across 26 Google reviews. Newcomers start through an introductory program of five private lessons, a rare one-on-one on-ramp for a traditional dojo. Classes run weekday afternoons through evening at 1630 Pat Booker Rd.
