Listing Guidelines

These Listing Guidelines define what businesses qualify for a CombatTX listing and what content is and is not permitted. By submitting or claiming a listing, you agree to follow these guidelines.

1. Who Can Be Listed

CombatTX lists martial arts and combat sports gyms located in the State of Texas. A qualifying gym:

• Has a physical location in Texas or primarily serves Texas communities
• Offers regular martial arts or combat sports instruction (BJJ, Muay Thai, Boxing, MMA, Wrestling, Karate, Taekwondo, Judo, etc.)
• Is a legitimate, operating business with verifiable contact information

2. Listing Content Requirements

• Accuracy: All information — name, address, phone, website, hours, disciplines taught — must be accurate and current
• Images: Images must be relevant to your gym (interior/exterior, training, instructors, logo). Stock photos should not misrepresent your facility.
• Description: Describe your gym’s disciplines, programs, instructors, and what makes it unique. No promotional spam or keyword stuffing.
• Contact information: Must be reachable and responsive. Inoperable phone numbers or dead websites may result in listing removal.

3. Prohibited Listings

The following are not permitted on CombatTX and will be rejected or removed without refund:

• Illegal or unlawful activity: Listings promoting or facilitating illegal services, including but not limited to drug sales, illegal weapons training, or unlicensed professional services
• Hate groups and extremism: Listings affiliated with hate groups, white supremacist organizations, or extremist movements
• Unlicensed firearms or weapons training: Listings offering firearms, tactical, or weapons training without proper licensing as required by Texas and federal law
• Militia and paramilitary organizations: Listings for private militias, paramilitary training camps, or groups that are not legitimate martial arts or combat sports instruction
• Fraudulent businesses: Listings for businesses that do not exist, are fronts for other activities, or use stolen identities
• Sexually explicit content: Listings containing or linking to pornography or adult services
• Harassment or threats: Listings that promote violence against individuals or groups
• MLM, pyramid schemes, or get-rich-quick schemes: Listings that are primarily business opportunities rather than martial arts instruction
• Off-topic businesses: Listings that are not martial arts or combat sports gyms (fitness gyms, dance studios, etc. are only permitted if they offer regular martial arts/combat sports programs)
• Impersonation: Listing a gym you do not own or are not authorized to represent

4. Duplicate Listings

Each gym may have only one listing. Duplicate listings for the same location will be merged, with the earliest listing retained. If you purchase verification on a gym already claimed by another party, you will receive a full refund under our Refund Policy.

5. Image Limits by Plan

Image allowances are determined by your plan:

• Starter (Free): 1 image
• Verified ($49): 10 images
• Verified Team ($199):

10 images (up to 5 gyms)

• Verified Elite ($349): 10 images per gym (up to 10 gyms)
• Featured ($79/30 days): 10 images
