Welcome to CombatTX. By accessing or using combattx.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. About CombatTX
CombatTX is an online directory of martial arts and combat sports gyms in Texas. We list publicly available business information to help visitors find gyms. CombatTX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or partnered with any listed business unless explicitly stated.
2. Listing Submissions
Gym owners or their authorized representatives may submit listings or claim existing listings. By submitting a listing, you represent and warrant that:
- The information provided is accurate and current
- You are authorized to list the business
- Any images, logos, or content submitted are owned by you or used with permission
- The business complies with our Listing Guidelines
3. Paid Plans
CombatTX offers paid verification and featured placement plans. Plan details, features, and pricing are described on our List Your Gym page. We reserve the right to modify pricing and plan features at any time; changes do not affect active purchases.
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.
4. Verification
“Verified” status means CombatTX has confirmed that a listed gym is a legitimate, operating business. Verification does not constitute an endorsement, guarantee of quality, or assurance of safety. Visitors should independently evaluate any gym before visiting or joining.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent listing information
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute listing data without permission
- Use the Site to harass, spam, or contact listed businesses for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or overload the Site or its servers
- Submit listings that violate our Listing Guidelines
6. Listing Removal
CombatTX reserves the right to edit, suspend, or remove any listing at any time, with or without cause, including listings that violate our Terms, Listing Guidelines, or applicable law. Removal for policy violations is non-refundable.
Business owners may request voluntary removal of their listing at any time. See our Listing Removal Requests page for the process. Users may also report a gym for safety concerns, misconduct, or inaccurate information.
7. Intellectual Property
The CombatTX name, logo, website design, and original content are the property of CombatTX. Listing content (business names, descriptions, images) remains the property of the respective business or submitter. By submitting content, you grant CombatTX a non-exclusive license to display it on the Site.
8. Third-Party Links and Content
Listing pages may contain links to third-party websites and display third-party content. CombatTX is not responsible for the accuracy, safety, or practices of any third-party website. Visitors access third-party sites at their own risk.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that listings are accurate, complete, or current. See our Disclaimer for full details.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CombatTX shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site, including but not limited to interactions with listed businesses, reliance on listing information, or inability to access the Site.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CombatTX from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your listing submission, your use of the Site, or your violation of these Terms.
12. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account and remove your listings if you violate these Terms. No refund is provided for termination due to violations.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Texas.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
