Austin Karate Center

Little Ninjas as young as four have a starting point at Austin Karate Center, which layers its programming from ages 4-6 through kids’ foundation classes (7-12) and on to teen and adult foundation training. The school invites newcomers to schedule a free class, so families can test the waters before committing — and its 4.9-star average across 42 Google reviews suggests plenty take the leap. Doors open around 10AM on weekdays and stay open into the evening, with Friday hours stretching to 8PM, which suits both homeschool mornings and after-work sessions. The dojo is located off US-290 at 13062 US-290, Ste 106, in Austin; call 512-369-9814 or visit austinkaratecenter.com to set up that first free visit.
