The Karate University

Bob Nuttall’s Karate University has become one of Weatherford’s best-reviewed training spots — 4.8 stars across 153 Google reviews — by pairing a traditional dojo’s friendly, respectful atmosphere with an unusually open schedule: 5AM to 9PM on weekdays plus weekend hours, a rarity among schools that typically open only for class blocks. The I-20 frontage road location teaches kids and adult karate programs, with youth classes parents repeatedly credit for building discipline and confidence. Nuttall’s invitation is simple and old-fashioned — come see it for yourself rather than take his word for it — which is why the school leans on trial offers instead of pressure. Students advance through belt ranks at their own pace. Book a trial at thekarateuniversity.com, or call 817-341-8581.
