Duke It Out Boxing Club
Three boxers in a garage: that was Duke It Out Boxing Club’s entire roster when it started in 2018, before Coach Duke’s project became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with five coaches by its second year. The mission hasn’t changed, to provide a safe, bully-free space that keeps Corpus Christi kids off the streets and on a path to success, with seasoned volunteer coaches drilling fundamentals and pushing athletes past limits they didn’t know they could reach. Sessions run Monday through Thursday evenings, 6 to 8 PM, deliberately short and structured so schoolwork still comes first. All six of its Google reviews are five stars.
