Gorilla Heavy Hitters

Odessa’s Permian Basin fight scene has a home base in Gorilla Heavy Hitters, where experienced professional fighters and coaches run boxing classes for amateur competitors, adults, and kids. The gym also stocks boxing gloves and training equipment for sale — a genuine convenience out west — alongside its Monday-through-Friday 5-9 PM training schedule. Google reviewers give it 4.8 stars across 40 reviews, citing the discipline-first, hard-work culture and coaching that develops people inside and outside the ring. Whether the goal is a first amateur bout or overall fitness, the Royalty Avenue gym keeps the focus on fundamentals. Details at gorillaheavyhitters.com or 432-352-4682.
