SDR Academy

Sheepdog Response courses — the nationally known civilian self-defense system — find a Weatherford home at SDR Academy, which serves as the venue for Protector-level seminars in the DFW-west area. The academy’s own programming fills the rest of the week: morning, midday, and evening blocks Monday through Thursday plus a Friday morning session, serving everyone from young kids to adults. Competition is part of the identity too — the team is registered on Smoothcomp with athletes entering grappling events, under contact Justin Flood. Locals rate SDR 5.0 across 17 Google reviews. If you live west of Fort Worth and want practical self-defense training, visit sdrweatherford.com or call 512-537-8263.
