Grizzly Wrestling Club

Youth wrestlers from La Vernia’s Grizzly Wrestling Club show up on FloWrestling brackets at regional tournaments — real competitive output for a club based in a town of a few thousand people. Operating on Cibolo Ridge, the club develops folkstyle fundamentals for school-age athletes: stance, takedowns, escapes, top control, and the conditioning the sport punishes you for lacking. A youth club like this doubles as off-season preparation for La Vernia High School’s wrestling room. The club’s contact page routes messages straight to its director, and registration news runs through the Facebook page. The phone line at 830-219-8691 also reaches club leadership directly about joining.
