Fusion Martial Arts

Shotokan and Shorin-Ryu karate traditions merge with Brazilian jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, Jeet Kune Do, Japanese jiu-jitsu, and judo at Fusion Martial Arts, one of Alvin’s newest training destinations. The FM 1462 studio opened with experienced instructors at the helm and a promise to fuse classical kata training with practical grappling and street self-defense — multiple disciplines combined into one curriculum rather than sold as separate add-ons. Classes currently run Monday through Thursday evenings, keeping the schedule tight while the program grows, and the school sells gear direct from sparring equipment to embroidered gis.
