10th Planet Jiu Jitsu New Caney Texas

Eddie Bravo’s rule-rewriting no-gi system has an outpost north of Houston at 10th Planet New Caney, which operates inside Monstros Gym on FM 1314 in Porter. Head coach Lonnie Vickery brings an athletic background that includes several amateur MMA victories won on strength, conditioning, and ground-and-pound before formal jiu-jitsu study — a perspective both competitors and hobbyists can appreciate. The affiliation gives students entry into the 10th Planet network’s unorthodox, submission-first style while staying close to home in the New Caney and Porter corridor. The academy holds a 4.4 rating across 36 Google reviews. Class schedules and coaching bios are at 10thplanetnewcaney.com, or call 281-761-3669 to watch or join a session.
