American Academy of Martial Arts

Street-tested instruction sets American Academy of Martial Arts apart: the Benbrook school’s American karate curriculum has been shaped by teachers with police homicide detective and US military backgrounds, so self-defense is taught by people who’ve used it for real. Established in 2001 on Camp Bowie West Boulevard, the academy covers karate fundamentals, kata, Japanese terminology, and private lessons for kids and adults, with Grand Master Perez and Master Hoskins leading a family atmosphere that earns 4.8 stars across 16 Google reviews. The compact schedule — Tuesday and Thursday evenings plus Saturday mornings — suits busy households perfectly. Ask questions or enroll at aamakarate.com or 817-244-6373.
