Austin Shotokan Karate Academy

Cedar Park residents have their own outpost of the Austin Shotokan Karate Academy, an all-ages, inclusive Shotokan dojo operating inside the Sports Center at 1420 Toro Grande Blvd. Instruction follows traditional Shotokan — fundamentals, kata, and controlled sparring — with an emphasis on respect and hard work that families consistently praise in a perfect 5.0 rating across 12 Google reviews. Training runs four evenings a week plus Saturday mornings: Monday and Wednesday sessions from 6 to 8PM, Tuesday and Thursday from 5 to 7PM, and Saturday classes from 9 to 11AM. That cadence works for school-age kids and working adults alike. To try a class, call 512-785-8191 or visit austinshotokankarate.com.
