D' Judo Academy

Judo in the Atascocita corridor got a boost when D’ Judo Academy started classes, with neighborhood posts announcing new sessions for northeast Harris County. The schedule is compact and deliberate — Wednesday and Friday evenings from 7 to 8 plus a Saturday morning class — reflecting a focused program built around throws, pins, and the standing grip work that defines Kodokan judo. Beginners learn ukemi, the art of safe falling, from day one because everything else in judo builds on it. No reviews have accumulated yet, which is common for a young dojo, so a call is the best way in: contact 281-309-6579 to confirm class times at the Greenrock Lane location and what to bring.
