Dopson Personal Safety

Firearms instruction meets empty-hand self-protection at Dopson Personal Safety, a Lubbock school built on helping people of every skill level develop real self-protection skills. Instructor Heather Dopson, a certified USCCA firearms instructor, teaches Texas license-to-carry courses, women’s introduction-to-handguns seminars, and the Soul Punch personal-safety curriculum, along with invite-only train-the-trainer sessions for other instructors. The calendar mixes classroom seminars with range days, and her LTC courses have doubled as fundraisers for local veterans’ organizations such as American Legion Post 500. This is focused education for adults rather than a kids’ karate gym — self-defense in the grown-up sense of the word. Check upcoming classes at dopsonpersonalsafety.com or call (480) 382-4101.
