When Pure Jiu Jitsu closed, a Longview family stepped in: Priscilla and Edgar Rubio, together with their children Lillyana and Giovanni, opened ETX Wrecking Crew Martial Arts in March 2023 and rebuilt a grappling home for East Texas. Brazilian jiu-jitsu classes run five days a week, serving first-day beginners, returning students refining technique, and competitors preparing for tournaments.
