Extreme Martial Arts

Seven consecutive Amarillo’s Best awards and a 4.8-star rating across 230 Google reviews give Extreme Martial Arts one of the strongest reputations in the Panhandle. The Canyon Drive school bills itself as the largest martial arts community in Amarillo, drawing families from Canyon and Claude as well as the city itself. Programs center on kids’ martial arts built from jiu-jitsu and kickboxing fundamentals – with an explicit focus on leadership skills and school performance – plus adult Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and high-energy kickboxing classes. Doors open at 1 PM on weekdays and run until 9 PM Monday through Thursday, making after-school and after-work sessions easy to fit.
