Houston Martial Arts Academy

Escrima sticks meet Taekwondo kicks at Houston Martial Arts Academy, a compact program pairing Giron Arnis Escrima and Galleon Clan Escrima with Chung Do Kwan Taekwondo – a Filipino-and-Korean blend few Houston schools offer. Classes meet just twice a week, Wednesday evenings and Sunday mornings, inside the Level 6 Krav Maga/HTX FightCamp facility on Wakefield Drive – a deliberate, low-pressure cadence for working adults. Its Google rating stands at a perfect 5.0 stars. Because the academy shares its home with sibling combat-sports programs, a visit can double as a tour of the building’s wider training scene.
