Hwang Martial Arts

Evenings belong to training at Hwang Martial Arts, a Watauga dojang where classes run 4:30 to 8 PM Monday through Thursday — a schedule tailored to school-age kids and working parents. The Watauga Road school teaches taekwondo and self-defense fundamentals to kids and adults, and it holds a flawless 5.0 rating across 21 Google reviews. Community descriptions of the school emphasize life lessons alongside physical skill: discipline, respect, and confidence delivered through traditional instruction rather than cage-fighting culture. Friday sessions wrap by 6 PM, and the school keeps a deliberately small footprint — one art, one location, one focus. Northeast Tarrant County families looking for a no-frills, character-first taekwondo school will feel at home here. Call 817-656-4140 or see hwangmartialarts.com.
