Inaka jiu-jitsu

Sunday open mat from 1 to 3 PM bookends the week at Inaka Jiu-Jitsu, a Lockhart academy whose Japanese name suits its small-town Texas home on State Park Road. Weekday evening classes run 5 to 9 PM Monday through Friday, with kids’ gi sessions folded into the schedule — a setup reflected in a spotless 5.0 rating across 7 Google reviews. As one of the few dedicated jiu-jitsu rooms between Austin and San Antonio near the SH-130 corridor, Inaka gives Caldwell County residents a mat of their own without a highway commute into the city. The school posts schedules and announcements most actively on Facebook. Connect there or call 512-601-0456 to arrange a first visit.
