Independent Martial Arts Federation

Not a gym in the usual sense, the Independent Martial Arts Federation operates from Fort Worth as a membership organization serving martial artists of every style and affiliation. Robert Shook, Kirk Simmons, and Chuck Harrison founded IMAF in 1999 for practitioners whom large federations overlooked — independent students, school owners, and small systems training outside traditional power structures, whatever their art — and that mission still drives the organization today from its Minot Avenue address. The federation carries 5.0 stars across 5 Google reviews and welcomes members well beyond Texas. An online storefront operates alongside its membership offerings. Reach IMAF at 817-874-8296 or independentmartialartsfederation.com.
