Jesse Palmer Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Black belt under Bruno Tank Mendes and a professional martial arts competitor — that’s the pedigree Jesse Palmer brings to his namesake academy on Plano’s Ohio Drive. The mats cover gi and no-gi Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, judo, and mixed martial arts, with an open invitation for students who want to test themselves at tournaments. Scheduling is refreshingly unusual: classes run Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8 to 9:30PM plus a Sunday midday session, built for people whose days don’t end at five. The academy, connected to the Soul Fighters team, holds a perfect 5.0 rating across 83 Google reviews. Call 469-363-5068, browse palmerbjj.com, or stop by 8500 Ohio Dr in Plano to watch a class.
