Kuk Sool Won of Murphy

Sixty-plus years of Korean martial tradition reach Collin County through Kuk Sool Won of Murphy, a local chapter of an association founded in 1958 by In Hyuk Suh that now counts more than 400 schools across 26 countries. Classes meet inside the Wylie Recreation Center rather than a private storefront, and the compact schedule — Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings — is designed to fit around school, work, and family commitments. Students train the comprehensive Kuk Sool system of strikes, throws, joint locks, and traditional forms. It is an easy, low-pressure entry point for Wylie newcomers to Korean martial arts.
