kume karate pasadena

Shito-Ryu tradition anchors the training at Kume Karate in Pasadena, the Texas branch of Kume Karate International, where students drill the Japanese style’s characteristic kata and bunkai applications in weeknight sessions starting at 6:30 PM. Technical director and owner Luis Sauceda also serves as president of the Texas State Karate Federation, giving the dojo an organizational voice well beyond Harris County, and Kume has organized international Tomodachi tournaments and technical seminars that draw visiting instructors from overseas. That mix of grassroots classes and statewide karate leadership gives Houston-area students a direct line to traditional Japanese karate with measurable standards. The school operates at 1401 S Houston Rd, Pasadena. Reach the front desk at 832-606-9906 to observe a class or ask about beginner intake.
