Kung Fu Academy of North Texas

Northern Texas kung fu students have a rare resource in McKinney: a school pairing traditional Chinese martial arts with a newly launched Tai Chi program, all under Sifu Cory’s guidance. Classes span ages four through adult — the 4-6 program builds discipline, balance, and teamwork for young children, while teen and adult sessions push technique and conditioning. Beyond weekly training, the academy runs camps, self-defense workshops, belt tests, and even birthday parties. Midday sessions from noon to 1 PM accommodate lunch-break training on weekdays. With a perfect 5.0 rating across 49 Google reviews, it stands among McKinney’s most-loved schools. Visit kungfutx.com or call 972-746-9980 to try a free class.
