Kung Fu for Christ Academy

Faith meets footwork at Kung Fu for Christ Academy, an Allen school where the traditional Chinese art of Eight Step Preying Mantis kung fu is taught alongside Christian character formation. Operating since the late 1990s, the academy keeps a deliberately compact schedule of evening and weekend training blocks: Tuesdays 6-8:30 PM, Thursdays 6:30-7:30 PM, and Sundays 3-6:30 PM. Instruction emphasizes discipline, structure, listening skills, body coordination, and motor development, with the kind of personal attention a small program can offer, and it carries a perfect 5.0 Google rating from early reviewers. Students build agility and fitness while grounding their sense of identity in their faith, a combination few martial arts programs in Collin County attempt. Reach the academy at 469-744-8593 or kungfuforchristacademy.com.
