Lone Wolf BJJ

West Texas grappling rooms are rare, which is precisely what makes Lone Wolf BJJ in Colorado City worth knowing about. The Elm Street academy keeps a lean schedule — Monday and Friday evenings, 5:30 to 8:30 — and concentrates on building young grapplers: tracking platforms show its youth competitors traveling to NAGA’s Lubbock grappling championship, with match records logged as recently as January 2025. For Mitchell County families, that means legitimate competition jiu-jitsu close to home, without the hour-plus drive to Lubbock or Abilene for regular training. The two-day format also keeps dues and time commitments manageable for school-age athletes balancing other sports. Mat-space and age-group questions go to 325-242-1038.
