Nuon's Martial Arts

Eighteen trophies from the U.S. Karate Open came back to East Texas with Nuon’s Martial Arts’ competition team — their first national outing in fifteen years, and hardly a fluke given the school’s history of producing state and junior world champions from tiny Whitehouse. Owner Sam Nuon runs a karate program serving kids, teens, adults, and even seniors, with instruction that neighbors describe as patient and character-driven. The academy holds a flawless 5.0 rating across 13 Google reviews. It is a genuine small-town success story, training champions a short drive from Tyler.
